The enclosure itself is made from lightweight poplar plywood (11mm for the sides/back and 15mm for the front baffle), which helps the SVT-212AV to weigh in at a very manageable 60.8 lbs. This is even less than the 66 lb weight listed on Ampeg's webpage. That is a nice surprise!

Thought the 212 would handle lows better then a 4X10. Granted, it is a smaller cab. I have been considering a used Bergantino 212, Mesa 212, or GB 212 as alternatives but was hoping to match up with one of my existing cabs which is the SVT 210 Pro. Guess I could be the one to buy the SVT 212AV and write a review but that seems a little risky.
